So very true for me…

Anywho…this is just a general update for what is going on for those that are not in the Facebook group.

I have been suffering from a bad tooth since New Years Eve.  I finally got it fixed today temporarily and need to go back to get crowns and so on.  They have warned me that since they did such intensive work that I will be in pain for the next few days.  No meds, but I will be in pain.  Gee Thanks.  LOL.  Luckily I still have meds.

Throughout the entire time I was there, I was picturing Finding Nemo.. And it made me think of the pic above.  But you know what scene.. when Nemo escapes the Dentist.. all the madness….. Yeah.. As they were drilling I was seeing that and had to keep myself from laughing.

For the last week, I spent it in a drug haze, and this week looks to be the same, plus I have to get in ASAP for the crown.  My mouth better appreciate me!

The first part of The Mummy is completed, with Beta comments and so on.  If I am able, I may get that started again this Saturday.  I will admit, I was not happy when I went back through it, reading the end I wrote and will be hopefully writing the sequel soon.  Remember, this story is being short, but will have all three parts published as one story since it is short…

I am now working on Clocks.  The first chapter is already back betad and so on.  What can I say, MistressJesica1028 rocked the beta machine!!

We have another Beta for the team!! A lot of you may know her as TexasEx or the Queen of All That is Delicious.  Many huge thanks to her and to American Android for putting in the good word for me!!

Now the Bad News:

::starts singing in a happy voice::

I am not sure when I am going to be able to be back 100%.  I’m hoping that it should be after my birthday in a week.  But that depends on the dentist also.  Have I mentioned I hate my teeth right now?  lol

Clocks is being worked on, but I had to tear apart Chapter 1 – 7. However!!! The prologue is done… It’s just that the time line was all wonky and MistressJessica and I decided that it needed to be put in order.  Once we do that we can look over it better.   I spent an entire day just taking the chapters and repasting them into One Note to work with.  I did it, and am working on the first chapter, but I may go back and redo all the chapters, to make sure it all realigns up, then go back to correcting the verb tenses and so on.  But hey, it’s being worked on!

We still have chapters to edit, and I will be taking the time when I am done, to write down my ideas for the future. It is making it so much easier for me to go back and work on Charmed when I need a break, that I think that will be my new future.  Making it less likely it taking me longer to get back to writing a story.  Especially the sequels….  CoughHintYou’reEdgeHintCough.

Ok…. (These are being so pushy!!!!)

I am basically trying to load up the chapters so that everyone will have something to read before I go back into hermit mode trying to finish my first book.  I am going to try to publish it the old way, and if that doesn’t work, then I will be working to publish it on my own.  I want to try the traditional, just to say I tried it.

Other than that, there is not much happening.  I am working on the recommendations for the TB/SVM world since the You Got Blood’s will be here in 5 months.  Yes… 5.  So I am trying to work in all my favorites, since my database has a bunch of the stuff that we need in it.  This is a plus to you guys, since that may end up being the first stories to be completely updated in the database.  And it means I will be adding the rest of my newbies in at the same time.

So a lot going on in my world, and a lot to come for all of us. I have a list of stuff I am wanting and working on, as well as checking in with my betas.  There will be updated for the following coming:

Once I am done with those,  will be going through I Never…Did to make notes and to fix some irregularities.  I also am going to try to work on ITE and get that fixed.. with the mates in German being wrong and so on.  Thanks to any who have noted to me the issues…

So there is a lot of stuff going on, but try to remember, I am human and so are my betas.  Real Life comes into our lives, and since NONE of us get paid for this, I insist that it comes first. Shoot, to be honest, I would insist either way!  I just believe that it all needs to be put into perspective.  Too many deaths around me lately have taught me what really counts in the end.  And like Mr. Kittyinaz’s uncle told us, it’s only money, it’s not like you can take it with you in the end.  That whole idea only got reinforced with us today with a family emergency that shook the entire family.  Everything is fine now, but for a very long time this morning and early afternoon, we were all praying frantically.  And we were answered.

I look forward to announcing chapters soon, as well as new stories.  This year looks to be an awesome one!
