Meridian here for Wendy/Kittyinaz, and since I have several things to cover, let’s get started:
Good News:
1) Mama Kittyinaz successfully endured over eight hours of surgery today, and the prognosis at this time is very good. I personally encourage continued good thoughts, prayers, vibes, and all that other good stuff for their family. Wendy is, naturally, exhausted. I most sincerely hope she is currently snoozing happily away…or I’ll threaten her with The Muse. (That’s a serious threat, by the way…)
2) Voting in the Energize W.I.P. Awards is open!! From today, November 13th, through November 20th, you can cast your vote in several fandoms.

The fanfiction world is grieving today as we have lost one of our own. Due to requests from her family and admins, at this time we are unable to mention this beloved person by name, but we know that there are many others who are aware of this information, and who are grieving with us.
We were unsure if we should post this chapter today but decided that the person we lost would not want us to put our lives and talents on hold for her, and felt that the best way to honor her would be to continue writing and posting stories about our favorite couple.
We post this chapter in her honor.

This is Meridian posting on behalf of our fearless leader Wendy/Kittyinaz who has spent the day with her mom in consultation for Mama Kittyinaz’s surgery. Unfortunately Wendy hasn’t been well herself, either, so she hasn’t been able to write up the recipe for the chicken and rice mentioned in this chapter (YUM, btw!), but she’ll get to it some time this week. Regarding ED: This story is officially finished – all that’s left is the beta’ing and the posting once a week. (Trust me, it’s awesome!) Wendy states that only two chapters of the sequel have been written and we will see about that. She also says to thank her awesome betas and her amazing Website Whisperer. I take this to mean that we get to rob everyone’s Halloween hauls, right? 😀
Finally, I’d like to remind everyone that we betas have an email address set up: kittysbetas@gmail.com. This is solely to contact the betas directly regarding site issues and potential corrections. Wendy doesn’t even have access to it (because the betas decided that she really doesn’t need that stress, too), so be sure to leave reviews and story comments below each chapter.
Just a short update to let y’all know that Wendy is still in major editing mode – she’s powering through ED and is really looking forward to getting that finished and handed off to the beta (moi) so she can get on to her other amazing stories.
Here is another wonderful chapter of ED. We are getting close to the home stretch. I am working on getting everything edited and handed over to the lovely and sweet Meridian for her to wave her magic wand over.
Once I am done, like I’ve said, I’ll be back to work on the Original Fiction Aos Si, then You’re and so on will be done

On a sad note, a lot of fics are being pulled from fanfiction.net. If you are an author on fanfic, if you go to fictionpad.com, you can back up your stories there – all at once. They have an 18+ Age restriction, with your birth date having to be entered. All it takes is your username to start the move. We know of some, like Ethereal Redemption, that got pulled and she hadn’t finished moving her story over onto WordPress. If you can help her, click on her blog in my list of blogs and shoot her a quick note.

She wanted to thank our awesome WordPress Whisperer,4Padfoot, and me for our hard work. Robin has truly done an amazing job on Wendy’s site here, and deserves OODLES of noodl…recognition for her dedication, bravery, and general awesomeness.
(If I’m supposed to be thanking myself, does that mean I can give me cookies? And pumpkin pie…with REAL whipped cream?? It does? SPLENDID!! Let the thanking commence!)
She also relayed the fabulous news that she’s going to be working to finish editing the existing chapters of ED (Every Dark Night Turns Into Day), and will then, Muses and health willing, go back to crafting Aos Si. I, for one, can’t wait. (I will do my part by sincerely attempting to curtail my Muse Whisperings. Maybe.)
I will now steal this opportunity to say that working with Wendy, and seeing how her fantastic mind twists and turns and churns out pure brilliance, is every bit as much fun as you could imagine it to be, and more. She is a pure joy to work with, and I look forward to seeing much more of her imagination at play.
