So, it’s my birthday, and you guys get a present! How freaking awesome is that!!! Yes, My Beta gave us all a gift with the latest chapter of In The End.
Also, in case you haven’t noticed, I am on Facebook, (Hint on the page when you are devouring the new chapter, look of at the side and you will see my page.) and they got the first notice. Why? Because I take a lot of time to get the chapter ready, and yeah, I had to fix a pic. Not the greatest pic, but the internet connection is messing up again, and it won’t allow me to access anything except what I have already posted. Sorry for the repeats!
I have also got an invitation to AO3, (thanks! I didn’t know if you wanted your name announced, so, Thanks!!!) You can check out the story there, it is being loaded in full there.
I need to close this up, since my stalkers have already started to hit me up. LOL!! You know I am kidding. I am also currently writing on this story to get ahead of you. You can keep abreast of where I am on Facebook, or on the Songlist. (There is another use for it!) And if it wasn’t a hint to close this up, the song for this chapter is playing right now….
Next chapter (like I haven’t tortured you guys enough in waiting!!) but a lot of those mystery pics will be cleared up… And yes, there is a hint of a HUGE secret in this chapter.
The next chapter of In The End is over to the Beta and hopefully she can get to it. She is working and sick. All kudos to her!! I hate this crap and if it wasn’t for other people’s Doctor appointments, I would be able to make my own…
Ah well, what’s done is done. I have also been invited into AO3, and have started to post over there In The End. As well as helping out on other WordPress Sites for beginners, and trying to write my own stories and manage this site as well as admin for a Twilight non-canon group Facebook site and my own Author Page on Facebook. Along with all this is our very own wonderful Connor who is right now off pouting. Who knew a puppy would be this much work? My first one was a walk in the park type next to this one. I was told he is not as much work as a toddler since you can leave him alone. But they have not experienced puppy retribution by Connor. Messes everywhere, along with torn into stuff.
I just wanted to give you guys a glimpse into my life right now, and now that I am trying to work on all of the stuff here, but with me still having the flu, it is getting a bit much. And this is just the first week of the new year!
So please give me and my poor Beta some patience. We both want to work on In The End as well as the other stories, but we both are being bogged down. As soon as AO3 is caught up, then I will be working on figuring out what to do with the other stories. I may ask for more Beta’s until we are caught up and then decide what to do from there. My Beta loves my stories, but it is hard for her to get to them. And They ALL live inside my head so I really like to get some finished. So if anyone would like to help, let me know, and I will talk to my Beta about it. If you want to know what you will be working with, well the worst example would be Vampire Diaries/Twilight story I have out there. That is straight out of my head with no editing. And as most of you know, I edit before I send to my Beta.
For right now, more pills, since I am starting to feel bad again, and working on some stuff, since I can’t sleep since Connor doesn’t want to sleep right now. But I wanted you guys to see how big he is getting. He dragged over his bed to my chair and then laid in it giving puppy eyes. Now he is mad so he dragged it back to my side of the bed and is laying on Marty’s side of the bed ignoring me. =D
So, I bop over here to make sure the chapter I am working on has the correct updated previous section, and come to find out, that you guys are clicking away at the site!!!
We made over a Thousand hits, not only 1 day (Jan 1st) but 2 Days!!!

As previously stated, I am working on the next chapter and trying to get it done before my husband cracks the whip and demands that I rest. Yes, I have the freaking flu, and yes I am being bad pushing it. But I feel bad no chapters!
So our compromise, he will watch me and I can work, but if he thinks I am pushing it too much, Back to bed I go. But while he is away, the mice will play.
In all, Thanks guys, you made my day! Have fun clicking around. I am going to work on the chapter. There is a huge revelation in here, but it is artfully hidden in the chapter…. 😉
I know, I haven’t posted an In the End, nor did I finish my challenge. All I can say is two words. Connor. Sick. And that is it. My excuses.
But I did finish another chapter ahead for In The End tonight since I was feeling a little better. Hotter than heck, but a little better.
So, I wanted to say thank you again to all my readers!! And for those that rec’d me to others. You are the reason I keep writing, even when I am loving my brat of a puppy who can’t understand writing time. And why I have to go to bed early since he doesn’t understand that 5 in the morning is too early for mommy. ::grumblegrumble::. But he is adorkable. Especially when my hubby watches him play with empty water bottles and cat toys instead of the ones he paid for and has this lost look on his face. hehehehe
My resolution this year is simple: Write more and finish moving things! I promise I will be working on Chapters and will try to work on something this week. The rumors of me having the flu may have been correct, but since I am getting better, we will not listen to the rumors too much… ok?
I hope you and all of your family and friends have a wonderful year. Mine will be interesting with Princess Missy Prissy Morgan who is jealous of the puppy, and Connor who thinks cats running from him is the greatest game in the world! I just can’t wait until he is out of the biting stage!! Sadly, that won’t be for another couple months, but he is learning!
So, here is the deal. I am going to be busy, and so is my Beta. So as a Christmas gift to her, I am not going to ready a chapter for her to post. She is editing a one shot that is part of something else, that you guys will see next month.
Depending on how the rest of the week goes, I may or may not have a surprise for you guys. No promises.
However, I really want to say thank you to all my readers. Without you guys encouraging me, it would have been hard to come back to writing. Instead you guys inspire me and make me want to write. You guys are happy, I am happy, and my hubby is happy. The only one upset is Connor, but he is getting used to it. I really had no idea how much time was going to taken with him, but I would not give up a second with him. Well, maybe this morning’s decision by him to get me up at 5, I could have done without.
So, my hopes are that you and yours have the wonderful Christmas I already have been having this year. All I wanted besides the happiness of my family and the health of everyone, was a computer I wasn’t screaming at constantly for making it a chore to do anything on it, and a puppy. My hubby worked his ass off and gave me both. 🙂
Have a very Merry Christmas, and I hope to talk to you guys before the new year. And for those that are following it, I am planning either a massive ending or a sequel to the story I am writing on. I have to get busy since the month is ending on me soon!
Ok, that was in bad posture. But I wanted to let you know as you wake up, there is a chapter of In The End ready for your perusal. Blame my Beta if you like the additional 2-3k extra words for this one. She had commented on something she didn’t see up to my normal status and told me. I went back to fix it and added a bunch of words to the story instead. What can I say I am mouthy.
Also you guys are getting this update at this time because of Connor. He had woke me up enough that it will be a real bitch to get back to sleep. But I am in my Ambien haze so, I may not remember this. Who knows? But those Reese Peanut butter cookies look awfully good.
So have a great day and don’t forget to have a moment today to remember the victims, and to forget the shooter. Since this should be more about them than him. He’s a lost soul who deserves to pay for his sins, not become a glory hound as they are making him.
