I have a couple of chapters written, but I will be tearing into it when I get the chance. Feel free to work in it. Third, as many of you may remember, last year this started my bad luck time. My mother found out she had breast cancer. Her cancer is not one you can find by self checking. Luckily, we have a great doctor in our local Breast Cancer screening area (Victory Lakes for anyone in Houston area) and she caught it early. This type is very dangerous since most people don’t get it caught early have to go through chemo and all that jazz. My mom had to have a mastectomy. So please remember to get checked. And if you want, please donate. This is not just affecting woman, it affects men also.
Fourth, I am trying to get back into editing!! I have so many awesome stories, but as many knows, this had been the worst part of the year for me lately. I am actually dreading the end of the year when I used to look forward to it. Last year I dealt with the breast cancer for my mom, and the day she had her surgery, my bio dad died. The year before my Bio dad’s brother died, my maternal grandfather died and my first dog that I owned and raised from a pup died. All within a week. My grandfather had Alzheimer’s and I had taken him out for a ride and had a last memory of him that way. The end of that trip, I got hit with how much he had declined. After that he had to be put into a home, and he died after that. His Alzheimer’s was very advanced we had found out.
The reason I am telling you this? Because as I try to clear my slate, I often have issues with depression. I will get you the chapters as I can, but I wanted to give you guys a heads up. Also, when I am done with the Editing, before I get on those favorites, I am going to push to finish my book. I want to start the new year by sending it out.
I am working on getting everything on my to do list done. I finished the Las Vegas trip last Monday, and will be working on other things also. I am also working on Banners that my friends have asked for. Since they are the ones who give up their time to Beta my stories, making a banner is the least I can do! And it relaxes me when I have those days.
Also!!! My mom, MamaKitty, is doing the Essential Oils. For those that do not know what this is, it is pure oil’s extracted from the plants. Now she swears up and down that this stuff works. She bought me the spearmint since I love that stuff, and I will admit it makes tea tasting so much better, and it seems to be helping my tummy. Last night I had a migraine and it sucked. Nothing was working. I got up since the meds were making me loopy and helping Harleen figure out her WordPress. I figured what the hell, and put a bit of oil on my temples. Lo and Behold, it freaking worked! Peppermint is the ideal one for it, but spearmint is another one for headaches. So, I am letting those of you with issues, please visit the site. I will ask MamaKitty to have something so that any who would like to order can contact her. If you have any issues, my mom ordered the book to figure what can help solve stuff. She uses it to help sleep, and for the headaches and any other things (Since Peppermint seems to clear up a lot of maladies) as well as the other scents. Its all natural, and my family has all started to use it. For me? I will just steal her stuff. And drink my spearmint tea. We are getting the Basil and Oregano oils for cooking. There are some awesome banners for this month’s banners for the group and page. The Facebook Page gets all the notifications, (I share from that page to the groups) and the group is where I hang out. There are teaser threads and they even talked me into posting a story earlier than I thought I would. I also have an interview with Carter to do this month!!!

Yes!! Bertie Bott and I will get to meet this Thursday. We will also be meeting the stars of the Vampire Diaries (IAN!! and Daniel Gillies!!!). But somehow, I am so impatient to meet Bertie. Tomorrow I will be starting the packing, and like my hubs always complains, I will probably pack too much. Ah well. Its vacation. What if I spill something… or don’t feel like the outfit I picked out?!?!?! LMAO!
I will be posting to Facebook from Vegas. I think (I don’t know for sure) but I do know for sure that WordPress Whisperer has a Vegas page ready. Ok.. KILL BILL Contest!!!
You guys kept asking, so I am opening it up. You have until the end of the month to get those entries on them. You can Kill Bill as many times, as inventive as you can come up. I can hint that if you give Sookie and Eric a HEA, it probably will help out too. I will be building the page here shortly for the contest. The rules generally are the same, stick with the theme. You do NOT have to use True Blood. If you want to use Kill Bill as an other source… Please do!! Imagination is the key folks!
I am also writing. I am on a roll for the Harry Potter fic, and I am hoping to finish it soon. From there I am hoping the muse sticks around long enough to write more IND before leaving, but if she wants to write more on the other subjects, that is fine. I think she was mad since I stopped writing. I was trying to give you guys chapters! That should count for something right? I also need to finish my piece that was for Kelpie’s writing contest that won, I am planning to finish then hand it over to Meridian and she is going to work on it from there. It will be both of us, but no one will complain that we plan to make this a multi chapter fic right? I plan to write the story, and she is going to expand it. Odd Collaboration, but it should work for all involved.
For those who may have wondered, Gyllene’s HEA contest ended, and the winners sooo deserved it! Congrats! I entered a one shot and I will be working it to load it here, with a banner. When I get time! I also have another one shot that I need to clean up and get up here. It is a AH Eric/Sookie fic.
So there is plenty going on. I wish to thank all of you that asked me to write a huge thank you. I have been torn trying to work on chapters and not being able to. So when the bug hit me, I decided to let you guys know. Your response inspired 2 chapters that night. Not the chapter I was thinking was coming, but still… It inspired them! I wrote the chapter I was inspired to write last night, and yeah. The Muse is in charge on this folks. Sit back and enjoy the ride. And teasers are being posted in the group now.

This month does not have a contest, since I will be gone for the Vegas trip with Bertie Bott to meet Ian and the rest of the Vampire Diaries Cast. I have no idea who I am more excited to meet, my Friend, or one of the men who inspire me to write, not only with his acting, but his day to day actions also.
So the next contest, since so many have asked for it, is a Kill Bill. The only thing I will list in addition to our other rules, is to add the penname you wish to have on the banner when the contest is completed. It will speed up the process to finish them up.

I am stuck in a dream.. It is an odd one, and I have been teasing it as I write it, so we will be off for awhile. Here is the Banner that Bertie Bott made me:
Mr. Kittyinaz got his trip postponed to next Saturday, his Visa was not back, and you kinda need that. He will be gone until about the time I will be coming back from my trip, so I have been spending time with him a lot. But since I sleep when He works, I have been getting online later and writing. I am sorry, but RL comes first.
I am off to write some more, and make sure teasers are posted for the stories that the group is keeping up with in the group threads. They are the ones who determine what gets teased.

Yes I know I have been missing. I had a migraine. And its hot here, so I was in a dark cool room, with my puppy and thinking hateful thoughts.
Also… One of the greatest comedians and actors passed away this week. I remember Mork and Mindy. It was one of the first shows I was allowed to watch, and he cracked me up. I remember seeing Good Morning Vietnam, loving his performance in it.
It was not until much later that I ever saw one of his comedic specials. And I couldn’t stop laughing. I cried.
From there, I watched his movies, though I did skip the one One Hour Photo and I watched scenes from Insomnia. But I thought he was a great actor for being able to play roles so far from his normal. Yes, his part as the Genie is one of my favorites, it was pure Robin Williams, and I loved Hook. In fact a lot of it, is hidden in Best, since I came up with the idea of Hook in Once Upon a Time being Peter Pan from that movie. I have the music downloaded, so it probably affects me since it is part of the songs I listen to at night.
Good Will Hunting affected me a lot. I was often thought of an outsider, and hid me being smart. I was no where as smart of Matt Damon’s character, but I could emphasize with him.
The man was a genius. He will be greatly mourned. And at the same time, he brings home something clear. Depression is not easy to get out from under. This man who brought so much laughter to others, and that most had described as a happy person, suffered. I suffer under it, and it is an insidious beast that I have to fight against. My writing, and even you guys make it easy to help, but I will admit, there are times I want to give up, and then I list to myself all the good things and then work to get it beyond it. I am not suicidal, but there are times that getting out of bed seems too hard.
So get help. It is not the end all solution of everything. I have help and I fight it. Robin Williams had checked himself in to get help. But remember there are reasons to get up. Reasons to go on. And if you need a list, contact someone.
Here is the next chapter of AIW, and I will try to get back on schedule here, Mr Kittyinaz is going to be out of the country starting Saturday so I will be available more, but I have been taking it easy to spend time with him before he is gone for 3 weeks in China.

Yes. It is Wednesday, and I have a chapter of IND ready to go. I wrote one more, and in the middle of writing another. Unfortunately, Mr. Kittyinaz (God that sounds weird, but I won’t give you the name the ladies know him by) is going to China for 3 weeks, and we have been running around like chickens with our heads cut off trying to get his passport ready before he leaves in one week. So not much is getting done since it is disrupting my sleep schedule and he was not aware it was still easy to make me go back to the non sleep again. Ah well. Live and let learn.

I am planning after this another contest in September, and it will be a unique one. I am going to alternate them out. I was going to do something else, but this month, with all that is going on in my RL, there is not much time for me. So instead, I will be doing what I can, and not letting my health escape me. the gym will be next week, since there was just no way to start it up this week with all the hoops we have jumped through to get his passport.
