The Nominations. Wow…. You guys blew us away, and we worked every minute we could on them, to finish the verification LATE Monday, Yesterday was spent getting the Banners ready, and today was getting the poll ready while we double checked as much as we could. There were 1,256 individual nominations spread out. From there , 695 were needed to verify individually. From there we 606 nominations. 606. That is a lot of people you guys nominated!! For me? I am exhausted as are the rest of the ladies. There have been reports that everyone has basically collapsed and even though we are trying to do our writing and so forth, it is not as easy as you would think. Robin laughed at me one night, since I was putting all this stuff into a database, my mind kicked on when the melatonin was getting me to sleep, and I wrote out a bunch of ideas.. for the Crossover Haven. See, I had already thought of everything for the fanfic awards. And did I remember any of them? One. That’s it. One whole idea was remembered the following morning for the Awards. Oi Vey!
So, now that we have a break, I will be trying to finish up the stories, so I can dive in for edits, giving you guys something to read. I am also, since I feel unproductive even though I have no sleep, I make character banners. Below are the Alice Tea Shoppe ones. And amazingly enough, Jack Heart, Philip Winchester, turned into a hottie!!!
Make no mistake, while you guys are getting a bunch of new stories, this whole writing period was to finish one story, I WILL finish that one before I start writing. It’s a twilight one, but for you SVM/TB’s you get…. 1 just for you, 1 for Twilight, 1 crossover for Twilight and TB (NOT Edge!!). You will have stuff. Next time (Unless Meridian’s muse whisperer attacks again) will be 1 fan favorite, 1 you guys have been asking for, and one new one along with my Original Fiction.

I’m so sorry!!! I’ve been working on the nominations, and luckily Gyllene pulled my attention to the fact I have not done the Sunday Post!
This is a kinda short one. I have not done anything but try to sleep, and working on the Nominations. You guys ROCK!!! We are overwhelmed by the responses and working all of our buts off to get the nominations verified and to get them out there for you guys to see and so the Authors can be shocked at the responses as we are. I am so happy with the whole thing!!!
No I have not done the interview. I promise I am thinking of it!!!! I also need to get back into writing. The good news? I had a suggestion from ladies of my group to get a melatonin from Sam’s. It is strawberry, and dissolves in your mouth. Now, I expected it to work kinda like Ambien, and for me, it didn’t. But it was telling my body to go to sleep. I ended up take some Benadryl’s to help knock out my allergies that are so bad, I was looking like I was crying from my watering eyes. And would you know it, I was knocked out. Got 7 hours which is like 2 or 3 days worth of sleep. So yes. There is an end to all of this. Amen!
I want to say, Happy Mother’s Day for those moms, Stepmoms, to be moms, want to be moms and those of the four legged persuasion. And yes, the four legged counts. I have sat up all night for Connor and Morgan. Morgan I stayed awake and sitting by her crate after her surgery for long ass shifts with my hubby. I remember that night, she had just got fixed, and it was late in life. Well 2 years old. But she is a licker, and so we had to try to keep a cat from licking her belly. Not fun. And Connor, when he was sick I stayed up all night and into the following morning and day until he was fine. Don’t get me wrong, moms have a tough job!!! And I so admire that!
The video on top brings up the eye on person for the week. Robin aka 4Padfoot . Yes, you guys are getting used to her videos, which are freaking awesome!! And yes, she is the WordPress Whisperer. She is freaking awesome!! And wiling to help out any of us. Then there is the fact that she makes banners. All this in one woman who we cannot say enough glowing things. Check out the 3 videos she made this week. the One on top for Mother’s Day, then the two below for ladies who had their birthdays this week. She is the one you have seen the moving gifs for buttons, yep. She did the Kittyinaz Gif. (Whch I need to bug her to put on my side!) And which is my avatar for Facebook now. Start the Machine by Angels and Airwaves. Somehow I have missed this band! I am eager to catch up and this was a great introduction to it.

So, for those of you not on Facebook, I warned them all I would be up at weird times. I am getting off Ambien. Seems you are not supposed to be on it more than a week or two. I’ve been on it for years. So I am kicking that to the curb, and my insomnia is still there. My issue is falling asleep. When I do sleep, usually there is no issues, but sleeping during the day? Yeah, people call more often than they do when you are sleeping at night. Funny how that happens. Don’t they know you are sleeping then?!?!?!?! LMAO.
I am back to working, since I have to exhaust my brain. However, there is a list of things to do now. Yeah, knew that wouldn’t last so long now that I got a new toy to play with. I like lists. I like to mark them down so I can see the progress I make. I am a very visual person. Hmm maybe since I think in pictures? Yeah. Lack of sleep makes me more skip around worse than normal. And its bad normally. Ask my hubby, he can tell you.
I have mentioned that I have a deviant art account, and just to let you know, it has some hints to the new story I am working on, Clocks. I have that and the Twilight one I started with, plus a new one I am blaming Karen’s muse whispering. She said she gave me a rest for a couple of months. But I am pointing to Clocks as NOT resting. Nope. And Wisdom is another of a new idea.
Now for Wisdom, I am doing three 5 chapter segments… If the reviews want them. And for the other story that I am spending this week on, is another shorty, since I am NOT sure anyone will read it. It was the product of a dream that lasted two nights. Stubborn bugger. I wrote it up, and getting some very favorable replies back on it. If the ladies on Facebook make their wishes known, I will post a teaser on it.
Kill Bill! I love the Kill Bill contests. It is the writing challenge for this month, and when I stated the rules, I got a lot of replies favorable. Again, you have to be a member of the Facebook group to enter, but I will be posting the stories here.
I bet you guys are wondering what the heck is the next group after I am done editing this group will be? Well, you guys asked and asked.. So I will give you the pet names the Betas (coughKarencough) came up for them. Aossi, ITE, Edge and Sun. So is it going to be great for you guys when I finish? Heck yeah. And I will have gotten a Twilight one done and off my list by that time.

(Yeah I am VERY late, but hey you try getting ready for writing the interview when your muse is being a fickle bitch and not letting you finish a story before flitting off and presenting me with new ones!) And I will give you a preview to a story that Sephrenia helped inspire. I wonder what it will be. [Activate Sarcastic Font]
That is up in my busy, busy world. I do have a plotline for Clocks, since my Muse decided in a night to give it to me and my white board is covered in notes.
