What was it like to not only find your mate, but then to find out exactly who and what she is? It was…still is amazing. I have gone so long thinking my worth was in rescuing Katherine, then having that shattered, it was heartbreaking. Then thinking myself falling in love with Elena, I just accepted it, knowing I was not to win. I have given up. Then this woman breezes into town and throws my life into.. hell I don’t know. Corkscrews doesn’t sum it up. Everything has been turned around and I would never take a second back of my life. Then finding out this awesome, breathtaking woman is mine? There are no words. How great is it that after so long you finally find love and a family? It is amazing. Truly. What did it feel like finding your Sookie when she was just five years old, and then to find out that you would be sharing her with your maker, only to find out that you were mated to both Sookie and Godric? As I mentioned earlier, it is the best memory of my thousand years. But when we found that Godric was out Mate also, it settled me. I was not looking forward to giving up the time with my Maker. I love him, and it felt like something was tearing inside of me not to be with him. But I knew that Mating was absolute. I was just confused about why I was upset with it. So it was a relief to find that I was not wrong. That there was a reason for me to feel that way towards my Maker.
Vampires are naturally possessive creatures. How do you stop yourself from feeling jealousy or possessiveness when Sookie shares affection with Godric? There is none. She is ours, as Godric is ours, and I am theirs. If there were jealousy or possessiveness in our bond, we couldn’t be Mates. There is beauty in watching Godric share his body with Sookie and me, just as there is with Sookie. Godric feels no jealousy either with the two of us like that. Now, we have some issues but they are not because of our love for each other; they are misconceptions that no one had corrected before. We just learned a valuable lesson, that while we love each other, and there is no jealousy over a Mate being with the other Mate, there is still a chance that one of us will be upset thinking we were not enough for our Mates. But never about one being with another. How can I be jealous of them wanting to be with each other the way I want to be with them?
You have an eternity before you: what three things or events do you look forward to the most? My Mating of course! I also look forward to this plan coming to an end. I have spent so long acting like I was nothing more to Sookie than a big brother, and now our act has me wanting her but has her acting as if she hates it. I also look forward to not having to serve Queen Sophie Anne. This may not be what others think about, but it all ends up with the same result. I want to be free with my Mates. I want to show them affection, and return it freely. I would like to tease Sookie, and not have her have to act like a spoiled brat. It seems simple and so little, but it is something I yearn for each night this charade goes on.

How do you feel about your Maker suddenly finding his Mate after so long, and does it give you hope toward finding your own Mate? It makes me very happy since he is Mated to my sister, and I now he will treat her the best he can. And it does give me hope that I can find my own Mate. Until then, they allow me to share in the feeling of being whole when I am around them, so I can wait a lot more patiently.

How do you see yourself spending your free time now that things have calmed down between your Maker and your sister? As much as possible with them. She is going to need a lot of blood, for one. And Godric just won’t be able to keep up with her demand alone. So I will be there to help him. I also look forward to teaching her as much as I can onour traditions, bringing them up in her head. Seems since the change, she can reach the information more readily, but not if someone doesn’t remind her. So I am going to spend a lot of time reminding her of our past, the past that she is now part of thanks to Freyja.
You don’t seem to have paid all that much attention to Pam since all this excitement began. How do you think she’s handling being third in your life after your Maker and your now sister? Good question, but how to explain it? There are hints in the story that there are other things happening that would answer that question, but I cannot give away too many hints. Lets’s just say there is a reason why, and that I finally learned my lesson. And I don’t think she is liking being pushed to being the third important being in my life. And I expect I will be having her act out on me on it.
What was it like to finally be able to walk around during the day for the first time in a thousand years? Amazing. Nothing like it. The feel of sun on my face then body for the first time in a thousand years was unbelievable. I make it a part of my day to watch each and every sunrise and sunset. When you haven’t seen it with your naked eyes in such a long time, it is something you too would make sure to watch. I often stop and close my eyes when I am out and about in the day, thanking my sister and the Goddess for the gift. One of my best memories so far was the day we goofed off and just skateboarded and enjoyed the sun. I look forward to many more memories of such type.

Considering how you feel about vampires, humans, society, and life in general today (tonight), barring Sookie, would you create another child? Yes. I think if I feel the pull to another child, or even met someone who would deserve the honor of it, I would.
Knowing what you know now of your life, etc,, would you change anything knowing that as painful as losing Sookie was, if it hadn’t happened your life would have taken a different path? Not now. Not knowing what I know now. Everything needed to happen the way it did to cause “now” to exist.
When you and Eric first found Sookie she was a very young child. How difficult was it reconciling your feelings for her at that time? I didn’t understand the pull I felt, knowing as I did that I had already met my Soul Mate. But I felt the pull, not only to have her as my Child, but as my Mate. But I also knew that she was Eric’s Mate, and I never wanted to interfere in his life. Once we found out she was my Soul Mate, the reborn version of her soul, it was not hard. She was a child. I loved her, and so did Eric. There was nothing at all carnal about it. But once she was old enough, it was hard when she and Eric first were together. But soon, soon I realized she had been waiting for us, and then I had no problem being with her.

Given everything that you’ve seen and done, if you could change anything, what would it be any why? There is much I would like to change, but would I? No. Everything happened the way it did. I learned what love is, and I know what hatred is as one only can when one has a loved one murdered in front of them. I learned how to lead people as Peter Pan, as Dread Pirate Roberts, and finally as Hook. Every part of my past has shaped me to what I am today, and that person is able to offer Emma so much more than one with only a part of my past could have done.
What is the one thing you regret doing the most and what is the one thing you treasure most in your life? I regret how so many things have happened, but mostly I regret the way I handled Rumple. I could have been more adult about it, but then, I truly believe a man unwilling to fight for what he wants… deserves what he gets. But for the other half of the question? The one thing I treasure most is meeting my Emma. Knowing I am meeting the other half of my soul, is a truly unique experience.
How difficult do you think it will be finally meeting Emma face to face yet not being able to act on your feelings for her yet? I have met her face to face in our dreams already, and there were no issues!! But if she means when we physically meet? It will be pure torture. I am sure my Emma will still be doubting our love and everything to do with it. Being that close and not being able to reassure her that she is my everything, it will be truly painful.
If you were forced to live in the town where Emma currently resides for any length of time, what do you think you would do since Piracy isn’t exactly an occupation there? What could I do? Anything I set my mind out to do. I haven’t existed for over 600 years without knowing how to shift with the times in my own way. I’m not saying I can find myself a job immediately, but once I am used to this world, I think I can handle supporting my Emma, Henry and I quite easily.
