It’s one of my stories that are not really known, and I figured since my muse is shaking her head sadly at this, I would bring it to the light again. And there is a reason.

Since I didn’t get a post out for you to read on… I will unearth this story that is a multi-chapter story for TB. Most of you missed the post about it, since I posted it in it’s entirety instead of posting one a week. Which I may not do again since it makes it harder for you guys to find them then.

This story was written for the Fanfic Exchange by Queen of Area 5. Who was wonderful with giving me the extra time to finish it. I wrote 27 chapters, edited and sent them to her after my beta, Christine jumped in and did the impossible. It went over the 30 days, partly cause I couldn’t come up with an idea no matter how much I tried.
Then I saw a picture of Cam, and the whole story fell into my head with him replacing the actor who played Warlow. It has aspects of Doctor Who in it, (for those that love the 10th doctor, you might recognize the parts) But if you don’t know, I cover it enough not to leave you hanging. Just a little extra something, something for you. Also, those who read the Deathstalker series by Simon R. Green, there is a hint in there about the books. I think I even stole a little bit from the Inheritance Sage by David Webber.
What can I say, it became a story that I could engage in my mindscape and not worry about anything. And before anyone gets upset, there are hints of religion in it, but I treat it a lot like Supernatural treats religion. It’s a story device; it says nothing on what I believe in. But it helps tie this story altogether in a neat little bow.
It has action, other worlds, fairies, demons, vampires, other creatures. I pull from all over, there is an Inuyokai from Inuyasha, Assassins from Assasins Creed, Ents from LotR, Nightmares from the Piers Anthony Xanth series, Dragons (A kind like the Dragons of Pern), Phoenix, Gods and Goddesses, Centaurs, Griffon, Kitsune, Unicorns, Pegasus, I even borrowed Jarvis from Iron Man.

Now I am off to work on making sure my stories are on the other sites, and to see about getting things done without stressing about trying to get enough time to do it all. Cause cleaning and linking, and checking stories lists on other sites are not easy to do when all you are thinking is that you need to be in photoshop. I have an order… and it was messing with the feng shui of my mindscape. *snickering*

Guess what? Somehow in the madness of this past week, I managed to not only get a bunch of new betas. (And thank you very much each and every one of you!) but I managed to edit a chapter.

Sorry!!! But I had to!!! I already had a great alibi, my story was not done until after the submission date. In fact due to the awesomeness of my new beta, we ended up taking to the very last day, but she came through and busted out this story.
So I was not given a lot to go on. And my brain wanted E/S/G. So I sat here for a week or two (not sure it is all a blur in my head) telling my family I was hating not knowing what to write about. I listened to music, I looked at millions of pics. Anything to find inspiration to write this fic.
And then one night, I was listening to Between the Raindrops by Lifehouse, and the beginning hit me. And I went with it. NO idea what it would become, I let the muse have the reins and just sat down to enjoy the ride.
Then I got nervous and told my betas. My pre-readers Royal Ember and 4Padfoot stepped up to read it. And they encouraged me to keep on it. That it was brand new idea to the fandom. MissRissa81 was there checking it out, and making sure I wasn’t skipping anything as I wrote. And they pushed me to finish it. They wanted to know what was going to happen.
I never wanted a 27 chapter story. I wanted something short, that way I could get it written, edited and beta’d before it was due. But did my muse listen? No.
But I did celebrate the day I finished the writing. Then the next day, I got on the story to edit it. Many things are added to the editing process. Jason was given more time in the story to cover some blanks. I fixed the second lemon to be better. And over a couple thousand words were added. And I ran it all through Grammarly. I learned some things from doing it. I do recommend it to new authors, or authors like me who don’t understand things. In addition, it gave me a huge boost when it started to send me the results each week of my work. Seems I use more vocabulary than 98% of it’s users. Go me!!! And I write a lot more.
At first, we had time, and I was doing the chapters here where the Beta will correct to make sure they were done. Then I got sick. Yeah, no fun and the pressure was on me and I just felt terrible. As soon as I could, I was in here in the office, on the laptop, anywhere to finish editing and posting for my beta. I got done, and I went off to relax. My beta was all set to work on the chapters, and then her internet went down.
She stayed up to I think 3 or 4 in the morning my time, to finish betaing the chapters. I was right there with her, blearily blinking my eyes, but as she finished a chapter, I would strip it from anything that is my normal practice on posting and send the watered down chapters (not the content, just no title, no previous, and so on that I do) to the Queen of Area Five.
And she was awesome throughout this thing. I told her where I was and she pushed out my submission as far as she could so I could finish.
I have to say I liked the result. There is a little Doctor Who for anyone who watches it (10th doctor!!). If you ever are curious, that episode is how Lucifer escaped. There is Asimov in there. There is many examples of what shapes me to who I am in this fic. The muse dipped deeply in my subconscious for this one, and I was quite amused on how it came out. I never got to use the InuYoukai that I found.
I own NONE of the pictures I used for this fic. As often as I could, I used the artist’s copyright in the banner and left any signs they made it there. Unfortunately, since I was going so freaking fast, I didn’t get the links to the original pics. If anyone wants them, I can try to find them for you.
Now, I am still working on linking all of this, as well as adding the pictures, making banners (for both the chapters and the characters.) Since I will be out as of Wednesday, I am going to be posting this all at once everywhere. So as I work, this story will be added to until it is done here.

Yesterday was a day off to the Doctor for my dad, and by the time I got home, I was wiped. so.. sorry!!!!
And.. no throwing anything, but today is the last chapter I have written for Edge that is going to be published. However, Meridian gave me an idea for a conversation with Sookie and Bella. *snickers* I can’t wait for that to be worked into the story!
So no being mean to the author… The muse hates it and really hates rotten fruit. She turns her nose up at it. And then somehow convinces my other side of the brain to go on strike and nothing gets done. nothing. Not even the dang database! *grumbles* It’s not like I want to spend all my time on the dang thing. I have to keep reminding myself. One time deal. Once done, I am done. Just need to add in the new stuff.
Talking about the Database…I put a call out to my group and the TB/SVM Fanfiction group in Facebook asking for help. So far hisviks and Gyllene have gifted me with their work. Thanks so much ladies!!! I have left spreadsheets to be loaded in those groups. If you want to help out by doing your stories… well there are pluses to this. I find I just upload the spreadsheets. If you are kind enough to give me all the information, I am going to load the entire thing into the database. Not just the stories I read. Just saying… So if you write in fandoms, (and no they don’t have to be TB/SVM they are just what I am going after first.) here is a glimpse of what I am using again. There are additional fields in the database for other fandoms and places I go to read their stuff… But they are cut out of the picture for now.
And if you don’t read California Kat… Why the heck not? She is stupendous.. (and gave me the easiest way to load the rest of the one shots into here!) She is also the one who convinced me that telling you guys what I am doing may generate help. Right now, I go into the sites, and have to look for the completed date, and or the last update (for the awards next month, no worries if you didn’t update until later, I verify any non-completed again, but for those who updated in the period of time, well….that is one less step for me to check on!). For WordPress that often means I am looking at the first comment since there is often no other way to get the date. This all takes time, and ironically, Fanfiction (the one I try to find other alternatives to link you guys to) is the easiest one to get the information from. I do not even have to leave the author pages!
If you want to help me out, contact me. I will be happy to send the spreadsheet and save me some work. (I know doing EricIzMine’s is going to be a lot of work. But dang it the lady deserves to be here!!! I reread her stuff all the time!)
I am also… *looks sheepish* getting lots of stories to be adding to the non-canon awards for reviewing. I am right now working on Carol E. Stewarts Preemptive Strike. My life is sooo hard. Read stories and then let you guys know what I think of them. All the while, getting me revved up to write away on ITE when I get back to fanfiction. Full Time.
I say Full Time since I am being pummeled by my muse with an idea. The betas are going gaga all over it, and last night I had an idea I am waiting on Miss 4Padfoot to get home to see if it can be done. *rubs hands gleefully* Since we all know no writing makes Kittyinaz a sad kitty… Well, we gotta keep the muse happy right? She has been rebelling this week (and how I know she talks that other side of my brain into her plans) wanting to write the next section. I think she even has Fate on her side. If Tuesday is any indication, and today, she very well might!

To explain this one would be hard, since the Muse is being very sly. She is sitting in the corner right now enjoying her Spice of Life tea and smirking at me. She keeps doing things to make the story change. tossing out the odd idea when I am trying to sleep. She really needs to get her priorities straight. I am able to act on them if she would do them other times. Duh! And it is not like I don’t!

I am off to work on other things, and making sure that the chapter for HP tomorrow is ready. The Facebook group has had this chapter and will know the chapter for tomorrow before you guys get the posts. I like to reward my ladies who follow me over there. And you guys get the chapters 2 or more weeks before the other sites. Well except TWCS, but there is a secret weapon in their arsenal. Also I reminded myself of a thing I need to go back and replace some backgrounds for the new Character banners. Duh!
