So what am I getting ready to do? Hopefully grab some lunch, then work on the Revelations. I think I am done with everything else. At least there is nothing on my list. I got bullied by Mr. Kittyinaz to get my ankle up, and probably get the same thing tonight. I love the man, but he gets mulish when he thinks I push too hard. I’m settling on my iTunes, if Spotify won’t turn on, and hit shuffle to work through things.
Also, go check out Golden Reads, they got a facelift!!! It looks awesome, and they truly are great on working on the book reviews. I suck at it, I haven’t done all I can doing the non-canon awards, but I am trying!!! ohhh I remember I need to do Make A Wish for the site!
So enjoy the day, here in Texas there is pseudo sun. It is bright, but fog is the name of the game. Yes, we can have sea fog all day long. In the middle of the afternoon, you can barely see 3 feet in front of you. Fun isn’t it? I’m off to work!

I am doing something new. On the February Writing Challenge page, please comment which story banner you think is the best. Why am I doing this? Cause I spend a lot of time doing these. The banners took me two days to make, and each is individual to the story the are for. To be blunt, these are some of the best ones I have made. Maybe I need to get sick more often when I make them?
The winning banners will be given a ribbon also to show your favorites. I will let you guys figure out what to do with it. Judge on how they fit the story, the most artistic, whatever you want. Have fun with it. I had mine playing with them!

There is one. Yes, one TB/SVM, one Inuyasha, one Alice 2009, one Harry Potter and 2 Originals (aka TVD). This is a varied cast, and caused me to dive into Google for images left and right. I will say Photoshop and I had an argument on His Boots. I have to go back on that one and recreate it. Won’t be hard, but I admit Photoshop was sneaky and erased the original file that has the details on it, while leaving me the jpeg.
Stupid Photoshop.
Also… Next month’s contest is ready to go.
Here is the deal. We go in a system. Quotes, songs, pics. Repeat. We had ALL of the carols for Christmas being done for songs last time, we had the lady in the lake pic, and the quote last time. This time is a song. The song is Feel Again by OneRepublic. For those that know me, you know I love this group. But since I cannot figure out what story will get the song, since they all want it, I figured if it inspires me so much, then it can inspire you guys.
What do you have to do? Be inspired by the song. Listen to it, and if possible, drop a line from the song into the story. If you can’t work it in, then that is fine. As normal now, any fandom I write in, you can use.

Yeah, the Harry Potter is a day late. But we are not a dollar short as I mention above!
I guess I will say Friday-Saturday for the posts. A lot of time it is my fault. Especially this week. My hubs took me out Thursday and Then I spend the day with my Grandmother on Friday, with the night being whatever we are up to.
Last night we had dog crates since Murphy has vastly outgrown his crate. (Yeah!!!) He is growing still, so I highly doubt his 9 months age that we were given.. he is taller than Connor! He is running or rather hopping around the house still. It is awesome. Truly.
While we were out, I fell in love with a grey/white cat in PetsMart. I am working on Mr. Kittyinaz. For those that know me, Morgan went missing the day we found Murphy. No sign of her anywhere. Tucker is missing her as well as Connor and I. But I saw this kitty, and I want her so much. I wondered if she was playful, and as if understanding what I said, she went sneaking through the playhouse and attacked the other kitties, tail. LOL!
Besides that, I greatly thank each and everyone of you for your messages. They helped, since for a long time I have been only receiving messages of please update this story. In fact, one of my ladies sent me a message, and the email under that was a request. For an update from another forum. It just made me laugh. I needed it, since if anyone who follows me, I haven’t been online much. My hubs told me to take a break. He has since learned of what happened that day for me to react finally, and admits there was a reason. Maybe not the best, but there was a reason. Though I have heard in many private messages that other writers are having the same issues. There is a limit on when that request for updates weigh in on people. It turns from a request to feeling like demands when they themselves may be stressed in RL. It happens to all of us. We are only human.
Just think about it when you say, please update soon, or can you please update this story? Maybe say, I really enjoy this story and look forward to when you have time to write another chapter? Just a suggestions. Again, it’s not just me having rough times, sadly, these times seem to weigh heavily on a lot of us.

I had a dream!!!!
LOL. I bet a lot of you who are new, are going WTF? Let me tell a little story. ITE, The Best, ED, You’re and so on started off as dreams. Many of my stories do, and depending how the muse is, depends on how many dreams I have on it.

Yep!!!! And the dream was not even close to what I had thought! I will warn people.. There is a part of the story I was shocked my brain came up with, but I will say that the title is very apt….
So when I finish up a bunch of housekeeping stuff on the site and getting some chapters ready for next week… I will be writing out that one so I don’t forget. No one minds right?
During this, my muse is being a very busy muse, thinking on the Original stuff, and throwing out ideas and such. I am looking forward to finishing editing. AS long as I have time…
One of the housekeeping deals is linking some stories to the challenge from last month, as well as some stories to the banners I have done in the Adopt a Banner page. I also have a Tin Man newly revised chapter to replace. I think we are getting close to the new stuff. I hope so!!!
A reminder, I will be also starting to work on the submissions to the current month writing contest, which tonight is the last day to get your submitted! I have the next two months figured out. And the picture one will be quite interesting per the comments on Facebook…
Also, I have joined Spotify. In the group, I have done playlists for the currently being updated stories. Then there is 4Padfoot being more than awesome and working on another way to get the music to the top of the chapters. The results are in for the January 2015 Writing Challenge. And I will admit, I was so shocked on who wrote what!!!
It is my honor to host these contest and read these amazing stories. I love that not even I can tell who writes what, and some are often my betas! This time, without knowing who won what, I read the results from the golden envelope 4Padfoot gave me, and asked the betas, if we can do 4 places. You made your opinion clear, and we acted on it!! Yes.. There are 4 places… And there were over 200 votes!
Just so you know, Charissa is the one in charge of the entries, and giving me the stories, and then when I am ready for the names, gives me them for the banners. She gives them to me after 4Padfoot sends me the results. And they send them in separate Messages, so no one but I am the one to know everything at the end. Yeah complicated, but it works for it!

For those that were wondering where the chapters went, well HP is delayed until this week’s posting. When I tell you RL takes precedence, I am not kidding. The chapter is ready, but I will publish it Friday, and hope the beta in charge of the story has a chance to get better. My betas health is more important than getting chapters out.
Today’s was another instance. But the beta had it ready for me late yesterday, but I am not on the computer on Sundays. I will say that I cheered this chapter. Eric gets a haircut!! I have tons of pictures of him with short hair, but hardly any of him with the long hair as you guys could probably be able to tell. So from now on, I will be able to dip into my artsy side for the chapter banners.
As for where I am, I am working on Tin Man, which will probably go pretty quickly. Then I will be getting the rest of the stories out. It may a couple of weeks, but we will see the rest of the chapters come out from the betas. Hopefully, I will be working on the original story at that time.
Once I am done with the rough draft, I will be starting on the other stories, but there will be a short time until I undertake editing, my old way adding lots of stuff to it, and then I will have to figure out what to do with the finished thing. Well after the betas all get their hands on it. Yes, I am not taking a chance, and with all the wonderful betas I have, I am hoping that it will be pretty good.
As for personally, all I can say is that the weather. WE will be going from 76 yesterday to 30’s today. And for the next few days we will be cold, then warm up then repeat. Mamakitty has already gotten bronchitis from the wonderful weather and DadKitty is getting sick. ::knocking on wood:: that my hubby and I don’t catch it. Flu season has hit Houston badly, and it doesn’t look like the weather will be helping!
But I have a warm Connor on my feet, my fingerless gloves on, and I am working on staying healthy. I need to get to writing the new stuff for all our sakes!
