Yep, It’s Sunday, and you guys liked the idea of me showcasing talent on my site. So I was excited when Robin told me that she made a video for me! And it was loading…everyone eager to watch, none more than me… Then her dogs pulled out the power cord to the computer. No kidding.
She felt so bad she had me view it on her computer, and I told her I would wait when the connection was not nice to us. I waited, and it finally posted to You Tube. So here I am with my video to tempt to writing more Damon. Anything. LMAO!!
Also…It seems Gyllene and Robin had some time on their hands and when I complained I wanted to make banners and couldn’t figure it out, they worked with me, to the point they did the networking thing, and nice, patient, Gyllene sat there and showed me what I was doing wrong. Let’s say I may have taken off. I am going off to update the Banners as requested by Gyllene with the ones I worked on. And I am still learning and playing with effects and so on. I plan to work on it during the times I am lacking time to get into stories. And weekends. However weekends have been with that whole not able to work on stories thing.
Winners for the Writing Contest for this month? Well I will drop the Banners here and you can see them. They are truly all awesome and I am looking forward to this month’s submissions. After I make all the stuff ready for it of course!
Other fan made videos? Hmm. I think I will start off with an odd one, but I loved it, and watch it still to this day. This is an Alice 2009 fan made video made by LollyMalfoy featuring Silent Lucidity by Queensryche.

Yeah. I figure I would write this, and see what happens. We have a couple things I wanna try here. First, I want to highlight some of the unknown abilities of the group.
See our WordPress Whisperer, is freaking awesome!!! Look below and you can see video she made for our very own Bertie Bott. She made it for her new Bella/Loki Fic. Which has me begging her for updates all the time. I was on the edge of my seat waiting with Bertie Bott for the video. When she published it to our group, I squealed. Then I squealed even louder when she made a comment. However that will wait. You can see the video here:
The other thing is I love fan made videos. Love them to death, and often Rissa has to throw me a line on You Tube to pull me from there. I also use it as my MTV from when it started. Yep, I dated myself, but there was once upon a time you watched MTV for music videos. Right now I have been writing (And teasing) to a fic that I am attempting to write ONLY using Linkin Park. So here is the song for the next chapter. Warning, I do need tissues for this one:
Please let me know if you wish me to showcase more fan made videos like Robin did, or others. I will be happy to show you guys some of the better ones I REALLY enjoy. Or the ones that hooked me on Alice before I ever watched the movie. (Yes, You Tube can be credited for the start of my writing career. Funny how things work, huh?)
I also would like to show other things, but since it is late at night, I need permission to show you guys the other fantastic abilities we have in our group. I know I am pushy in our group, but I want their permission to show you guys.
Lastly, I am going back to dropping teasers of my chapters. Which I am trying to do each day I write. I also played a game today and gave the 2 winners an unedited first chapter of the current fic I am writing. I am going to attempt to do this more often. Weekends are going to be the time to hit the group. I will not play when I know most people are at work. Not fair.

Yep, and you got One Shots to read, a surprise One Shot by yours truly, and so much more. So get comfy to read this post, I got some great reading for you to do… and vote on!! Yes folks, its that time of the month again, the Kittyinaz’s Monthly Writing Challenge is now open and ready for you to read the brave souls who stepped forward and wrote for the contest!
What was the Challenge for this month? It was a song, The Next Contestant by Nickelback. The song is on the challenge page, so please do listen to it. What made me choose this? Funny you ask! The reason is that it has been in my head for a one shot for a long time, and since I could not decide completely on the couple for the fic, I thought it would be great to use.
Please remember that the contests are to help inspire others to write, and to also let you know some of the authors out there. This may give them their break (which I would love to hear!), or just give you a new author that has been writing for awhile a shot at a different audience to read them. The names have been withheld, and you are voting on the story itself. There is no maximum words, nor this time a need to stick with one of my stories. It just had to be characters from my stories. Hey, it’s my contest! I had to get my stuff in there somehow!
But, to surprise everyone, I had wanted to enter, to get one of the snazzy banners missron80 makes, instead, I admitted I shouldn’t. So instead, I wrote a One Shot, that Bertie Bott Beta’d since it is her story. I wrote a Tea Shoppe One Shot. It takes place in the future. It’s to assure that no, I have not forgotten the fic, in fact for those that were not aware, it is getting a facelift by Bertie Bott, and Mommy4Thomas (My new Beta, so give her a warm welcome!). They are doing the facelift, then getting Twilighted Tea Shoppe ready for the next chapter. It is NOT forgotten, and this one shot reminded me of all the fun of the cast.

And once the WordPress Whisperer, aka 4Padfoot gets the chance, she will provide a link between that and the challenge page, but I’ll put it on here for all of you guys. She has also made a page for the Meme of the Kittyinaz Facebook group. It’s been thrown around since the beginning, and really taken off, it’s “Shouldn’t you be writing?” It started with Meridian throwing the ones of the Avengers at me all the time, and since then it has exploded to the point that 4Padfoot has made a page for it. Here is the one that started it all and you can click on it to get to the page…that somehow is missing this one…. hmmmmmm…….
Also, don’t forget to visit her page if you are thinking of doing anything on WordPress. She has made her site into a showcase showing all the sites she works on. And I am not ashamed to say I push her for new and exciting things as I see possibilities.
There is the Food Blog, which is not having a Bi-weekly menu from me, sorry guys, I was so sick the last couple of weeks, I never made the food from the last time, so I bought what I needed fresh and am redoing it. There are some changes, but really, it’s a reuse of the previous week. Sorry for those that read that!
The Tea Blog? The same thing, too sick to write. I can’t even write fully on my E/B story. In fact I spent the whole day trying to get iTunes to recognize my phone, then once I got that working, my Office wouldn’t work. Many, many, MANY restarts later, I am not messing with anything. It all works, including a new printer, and I aint touching anything. Not tonight.
Tomorrow is another posting week, so we will be posting to the sites the one shot above, and the chapter of You’re. Since the Beta for You’re is sick, Meridian has stepped forward to work on it. She is a saint, and is stepping to work on it until the end, then Sitalia25 will be back to Beta the rest of the trilogy. So expect the updates on that to start up, she is asking questions, and I am answering them since she is not a follower of TVD.

Divergent and Glee? Awesome. WE will have a few rules we will post for it. No incest was one voted on by all. And I know there is another one, but we will list them out. Please help us get the word out! All you need to do is apply, we will make sure you are following rules, and add you in to the site. Right now we are using WordPress.

I know it has been awhile, but hey, Real Life comes first for my betas. And unfortunately for me too. Poor Connor has been walking with me to bed and back. I think I have exhausted him with as many trips I have been making!
Now that I got your attention, here is what is going on:
I should be taking a sick day, but the Eric/Bella story if pushing its way through and I typed up 3 chapters yesterday, and one earlier. So it is coming pretty quick, and while I was thinking a one shot story Meridian has managed to coax more stories out of it. Blame her.
When I am done, I wanted to work on the Twilight one that this one interrupted, but I think I will edit two (2) new stories to get them to the betas and allow them to post. Less chance of Real Life coming up from behind and attacking us. Not promising anything, cause it seems if something attacks one of us, it soon catches the rest of us. We have no idea, since we should be safe spread out through out the world, but it never fails.
News and updates to the site. Big news to BertieBott and I, we will be traveling to meet each other and Ian at the Vampire Diaries in Las Vegas in Sept. There is a countdown on both of our sites, both of us thrilled. If you wish to join up with us, hurry up and get those tickets!! They are moving fast.
Our WordPress Whisperer has been creeping behind me on silent feet and doing fun stuff to my pages. I put up the new Eric/Bella (Note I will never do a Edward and Bella story, E/B is Eric/Bella) story so I can save my drafts on this site as normal. I also have been adding characters as I think them up on the Character page. Low and behold me coming on to find I have slideshows showing off Eric, MY Bella, and Godric. I know she has done more, and I just haven’t stumbled on it.
MissRon80 has somehow kept up on my demand for pics for all the new characters. Not too sure how she does it, but Wow!
I also have been sharing those updates I get for stories, to let you guys know there are some awesome writers out there. Sadly, not a lot of them are on WordPress, and even when they are, it takes me being on the computer. My iPad hates WordPress sign on. Or WordPress signon hates my iPad.
There is a new writing contests up on the Kittyinaz Facebook page. You are more than welcome to join and participate, as well getting little teasers (Like the entire list of pics for Clocks) and anything else I am working on.
I have not been good even on my Tea Blog, or the Food Blog. All I can tell you is whatever I have, is exhausting. But my brain is stronger and won’t let me stop writing. So I doing as the current song I am writing to says, keeping my head up, moving on. As soon as we can get stuff up we will, but like I said above, RL takes precedence. Its even in the Beta Rules!!! Also, as you can see, I am cranking out chapters and new stories. If you wish to join us, email us at Kittysbetas@gmail.com. Or notify Meridian on Facebook. We are always looking for betas, and you just have to have the will to try. you will be put with a beta who knows the ropes and willing to help you. Betaing isn’t a race, and it is why when I do edit a story for being posted, I try to edit it all at once, to give the betas a chance to work on them and publish when they feel comfortable.
So keep an eye out, and as soon as I can finish this one, a bunch of stories will be heading your way, hopefully allowing me to finish others, and get my own fic on the way.
Yep, we have finished our first contest for the Kittyinaz Writing Contest. And with the votes totaling over 1,300 votes, well what can I say??? the hits on the site for the days they were up showed you supported your group, reading the stories, sometimes more than once!!!
Missron80 did such an awesome job with both sets of Banners, I am going to show them both off!
Also, the results from Damon spilling the beans of the next story in my head, the voting for the next pairing is also done. That one had over 1,100 votes! The results are as follows:

Over 100 Elijah/Bella (This one threw me but I will see what I can do later….)

So off to write, until I go off to IKEA to finish my side of the room. Boxes and frames. And tomorrow grocery shopping. Oh yeah…………………..
