Yes ladies, I am announcing this months voting for the interview of a character this month. Why? Cause it closes on Friday at midnight. Sorry it is so fast, but I need to get this one done soon so that I don’t do a repeat of last month.
So how does this work? Go to Kittyinazs Facebook group (Link is on the side), and vote for the story you want, and nominated the character you wish me to interview this month(unless it has been nominated, then you can just like). If a story wins, but has no nominations, the story is eliminated. The story with the most votes, then the character in that story with the most nominations wins.
I’ll notify you to the next stage also. If you wish your character, no matter who, to be interviewed, vote!! Make a case for yourself!!
I am off to write, hopefully. The changing weather is getting to me, so I am experiencing the bad thing with AZ, headaches. I am sensitive to barometric pressure this high up, so the huge changes in the weather affect me. But this versus being actually sick? Take it!!!
The views out here are beautiful, and I keep missing waking up in time to get you guys a picture of snow on the mountains. I still have a month and two days left, so we will see! WE are on a warming trend right now, the nights are above 30 degrees. LMAO! 40 degree temp change in the day time? Already used to it.
So I have been already helping out the family, cooking, and helping others to spend money. I spent all Saturday setting up iPad and computers. Thank God for WordPress whisperer. She came on and helped me out!
Connor is enjoying his visit out here, but looking forward to Marty being back on Friday. Heck, so am I. Though he will be a slave driver, getting me to start running. Ah well, I need to.
So updates? AS far as I know, Betas are working on stuff. I am still looking for one more Beta, Tin Man needs a beta. Yes it had one, but we promoted her from it to being our continuity beta. One that I am blessed each day to have!!
I was just told that the next to last ED is almost ready to post, so I am going to post this one, so that when Meridian is ready, I will post a short one. But it will be up today!!! Next to last. Wow. I need to get working on stories!!!
Yeah I know. We are running late, and it is all my fault. I truly lost a week and thought that I had a week to get this up to find out on Friday I didn’t. So I wrote it up on the 30th and sent it out.
I am in Arizona right now, and internet is spotty, unless I use my own, and even that is slow, but they charge by the gigabyte. So I am holding that in reserve. But maybe not for long since I really want to be ‘normal’. I will be here until the 13th of January, so expect to see more posting from my Betas than me. They may even copy and paste for me because this sucks…
Updates: For those that fans of The Best is Yet to Come, I have the chapter back and am reading through it for my part. We are looking for a beta for it, and once we have one, then they need to go through the story and edit. Just to let you know, if you are interested, do NOT message me. Send it to the Beta email address: kittysbetas@gmail.com. Karen is the one who appoints Betas, not me. And there are tests. Just warning you. (I hate them, and I barely take them, only to find out I am not bad… But then I read my unedited stuff and cringe.)

I also had to fork out quite a bit on other things, and discussing with Karen led to the Amazon Partnerships. This will go towards defraying the costs for me to keep up the site. Don’t get me wrong, WordPress is free, but since so many of you come here, I have upgraded some of it. I am finding I am needing to upgrade the memory not only here, but also in our Dropbox too. Once I do that, I will load up the stories there and won’t experience the losing of a chapter like I did this last week. No idea how, and it pissed me off.
I am also working away, since the internet is so bad here, I have more time to write, and not read. I am also resting a lot to catch up on the lost sleep I had the last couple of weeks. My back spazzed out so, I am glad to have this time. My stress level was high, and I was putting aside my grief and everything to deal with what needed to be done, such as helping to take care of Mama Kitty and getting everything ready for this trip.
Mama Kitty update. She is home, and enjoying it. I set up the TV, though when Marty gets back, he may have to fix the Blu-ray player since it was buzzing and the colors were off. But it is easy peasy for him, me it was not fun. I like computers, but have me hook up a TV and all the stuff, with only having two HDMI’s inputs and needing three of them? Ugh.
Connor is with me, and this has been interesting. They have a doggy door and it is not getting through his head yet he can use the door and not be let out. Hey the time is young. He is learning that he can use it, since I won’t let him out but will stand outside. So he will use it, then when I leave him out, he will come in. He is getting used to the other people, dogs and everything. But he is enjoying it, though Marty left today to go back to Houston, and he is looking for him…

I know, you guys are expecting some posts tomorrow. Well, I am telling my betas not to worry. Yep I know, cliffy and such, but seriously. I will be driving tomorrow to Tucson, and they will be gearing up for family times. And you know my mantra, family comes first!
I have been writing when I have a chance. This earlier departure to Tucson is to give me time to settle. I have barely slept in a week, and been making up for it the last two days. But going there, not having to take care of anyone but Connor and I? Heaven. I need it right now. We won’t go to how yucky stress has been on my body. Bad, Bad, Bad.
So my plan when I am gone? To write my little heart out. No one is expecting us, so Connor and I will attempt to learn to go from a couch potato to a marathon runners in the next few weeks. I need the outlet running gives, and since they have dirt roads there, awesome. ( I used to be a long distance runner, so I fondly remember the time when I run, and be able to think or not when your body is just moving.) Then I can take my laptop and write away. No idea what the internet service will be, but I bought a new jet pack aka mifi. If nothing else, I can email? Who knows.
I will not be back to normal stuff until after my birthday on the 13th of JANUARY. Yes, that long. Marty is taking a month off between the 2 years, and we will be taking the time to recharge ourselves. Sometimes a new view will give your batteries a recharge.
ED is finished, Meridian is going to be working on that when she has time. I may have some other stories done and handed out to betas while I am out. I am aiming to finish some of those hanger outers, and finish my first book. I had wanted to work on that exclusively, but hey, Real Life sucks sometimes, and mine has sucked more than most. I will be working on the interview this month for Killian. And my Betas may post the next poll. WE will all see when I get there.
For an update, Momma Kitty (As my mom has been nicknamed) is now home. Connor is leaving with me tomorrow to allow her time to heal. She is loving the being home, there is nothing like your own home to feel better. She has been making strides, and is talking about the marathon for Susan G. Komen for a goal. Hehehe. Like she can keep up with me!!! Well, me then. LOL. She is still in pain, but she is settling in, and is happy to be wearing normal clothes. Well no jeans and none for 6 months, . But all in all, she is doing well!
I have sent over my recipes for family cookies and such to the Food Blog, and Megan is working on getting all those updated. And as soon as I can, I will be purchasing my domain this year for Kittyinaz, so if the Kittyinaz.Wordpress doesn’t work, try dropping the WordPress. This is exciting since our WordPress Whisperer has left little notes saying how much more she can do if we had the domain, so be looking forward to that.
Lots of changes, but I am letting my Betas know that as the holiday madness encroaches on their free time, to put me on the backburner and enjoy the time for the holidays. Myself? I am going to try to stock up on your stories and relax. Luckily for you, I’ve exhausted all my reading so I have nothing but writing to do. LOL.

So what has been up with me? I got to babysit Miss Riley and Master Evan yesterday. It was awesome. Played with Play dough, (However you spell it), put together puzzles that spelled words, and teaches how to spell. Then we watched Disney Jr. And some Doctor she loves enough to sing along with them. Fun Times. Evan decided nap time was best, and I didn’t complain!
Unfortunately, my allergies, or whatever I have decided I was too active yesterday and came back with a vengeance. Hey Marty claims that what he has is allergies, so I can too, right?
I finished reading You’re that is posted, I have 2 chapters to read through that is in the drafts in here, then I will be off writing to finishing that book. Then I HAVE to finish Aos Si this month. My mom has been to see the surgeon that is going to take care of that nasty Cancer she has. The 6th is pre-op and the 13th, well lets say I will probably be baking up a storm since that is surgery day. I have passed on the good wishes to her and it cheers her up. I have a request that anyone know of a new place to read Supernatural stories or any stories with Jensen Ackles? She reads LiveJournal, FanFiction and I introduced her to FictionPad. And AO3. She knows that there must be more out there, but she is frustrated. I told her I would ask, but that I am not telling her until she has the surgery. Something to have her looking forward to. She is spending 3 days in ICU after the surgery and on drugs. But after that she will be in my care. I told her I get to have fun with that.
Seriously, We do appreciate all the support, and my mom is very surprised by my readers. She cannot believe how much you guys really care and she promised me to start reading some of my fics. She has withheld, thinking it is like reading my journals. I shrugged and told if it is so, then by the numbers on my site, thousands read my journals each day. Why not her?

Yep it is that time! I did Godric’s interview while I was making lasagna. So I was a very busy bee yesterday on my day off. Many thanks to Meridian for Betaing, to the WordPress Whisperer, for putting it all together, and to MissRon80 for the Kick Ass Banner for this month’s interview!
It was again fun, and as per the Queen of Betas, had reminded me, no editing, no nothing after I was done. I handed it off to Rissa, and then went to bed. My hubby has had a miserable couple of days. He had been telling me it was all allergies and his asthma kicking in all at once. I believed him and when he refused me making Homemade Chicken Noodle soup, I thought he was right.
Boy was he wrong, I went to bed once I was done making all the food. (And my fridge is PACKED with food from that one day, luckily they took food to work to share with others. THANK GOD!!!!!!!!!!!) And this morning woke with my body feeling like a huge Charley’s horse, and my throat hurting so bad I can hardly believe it. And the drainage!! OMG. So needless to say, I am out for the count. And my hubby is getting text messages telling him if he does NOT bring some damn Nyquil, I will be hurting him.
Per a review I got today, I feel I need to explain something. My mom got diagnosed with breast cancer in what feels like months ago, but has only been a week and a half. What is worse, is there is intensive family history all on my mom’s side of family, of my older female relatives dying from it that no one ever told me. So I had been hit twice with information that is shocking. My mom has cancer in both breasts, and is dead set on surviving this, and will do so. I fully support her, as she is with me. Yes, they have begun the testing to see if I may have it cause the form she has, does not show up on a mammogram or ultrasound, nor do you get lumps. The only way was for a MRI, and they found it by accident.
As for writing, my Betas promptly removed both the sites (WordPress and Facebook) from my care, since my mom is meeting with a surgeon this week and I will be her primary care person while she is here. This is meaning that until I leave on 13th of December to go to Tucson, I don’t know what times I have to write or anything. With this understanding, I promptly finished editing ED since so many had asked for it. Now I am to only write, not edit, anything for awhile. I am highly stressed out, which is why the food blog is getting so much from me, since it seems when I am stressed, I bake/cook. ALOT.
So for When I Pretend, or really any stories? Who knows. I did not plan to have all this dumped on me, and while I know you are upset, it does nothing to upset me right now. As stressed as I am, I am not the easy going person of norm. So the plan is that NO story is ever abandoned. EVER. And I am only to write, not edit, what I feel like writing to help get the stress out. If you wish to know more, you can contact the betas at their email, or see if you can catch me in our group. But you can ask any of the ladies, I really am not into much but trying to find ways to be happy right now, since I am the one who needs to be happy for my mom, due to what’s happening in the house.
Shoot even for this post, I have Connor being a little snit and tearing into everything cause he wants me back in bed. So enjoy the interview. And anything that is ready to be posted, will be done so by my Betas.

As my ladies know who follow me in Kittyinaz’s Group on Facebook, I have had the hellacious week of weeks, and it ain’t gonna end anytime soon.
However, I just got told by the TheLadyKT in TWCS, that Points of Authority made the list of the Featured Stories of the Week on The Writers Coffee Shop. I truly feel like running around the house screaming, “I was honored to have my story, Points of Authority, listed as a Featured Story by TWCS for the week of 20 Oct 2013.” Ok so that is a quote from Meridian, but holy hell I really feel like screaming, I did it!! I was selected to make a list of a few stories and will be listed on the site for a week. A major site!”
For those that didn’t know, Points of Authority was written for Ellie aka WhiteWolfLegend. It is a Cauis/Bella fic, NEVER a Eric/Bella fic. I made a promise and I won’t break it. But Ellie got me hooked on Cauis with her using Alexander Skarsgard as her inspiration for the role. So many thanks to Ellie!! And many thanks to Faeregina for Betaing it!
Also as a side note, the WordPress Whisperer has hidden a gif of Skarsgard in the site. It is part of her Saturday Hide and seek Gif. And right now, she is figuring out LiveJournal adding my stories over there. Since it made as much sense as Chinese to me….a rare dialect…. from the mountains…. that only a hundred people speak. Yep. I was that unable to do much than read over there. Thank god there are intelligent people out there that it makes sense to!
