Starting Friday I decided that the house needed a deep clean. I started in my office, so I can clean and organize the shelving and so on. The cleaning elves are awesome, but they don’t life books and so on to clean, and won’t move anything around on my desk to clean. I guess they got worried after I told them to leave the white boards alone. (they partially erased a draft I had up of how my original books were going to go…I got smart and put that stuff in photoshop and did it in there.) So they don’t move anything around in the office. Fine… I can clean that. But they also do dry dusting. Which is fine. But once in a while, you need to attack it with pledge. (By the way I am listening to Kiss, and the minion performs to the song perfectly….)
So I got the office done on Friday. I tore everything apart, arranged things, and ended up with 2 free shelves when I was done. Awesome. I need two big whatamacallit thingies that can go there.
(thingies is my catch all phrase… but I like Whatamacallit’s too.) Then I moved to the bathroom, and cleaned the doors and so forth. Get the idea when I say deep clean? Yes. Doors, baseboards, windows and so on. Pull the furniture apart and wash it all however you can. Saturday was spent in the living room. My Hubby started in the attic. Sunday was the big push to finish it all and the whole family got into by then. MamaKitty cleaned cabinets in the kitchen as DadKitty went outside in the 100 degree weather to wash the last of the windows in the main part of the house. We finished at 6pm, ordered our super fast pizza, and then I crashed.
Yesterday I was happy with the house, but so sore from the weekend. I climbed ladders, which I am terrified of falling, so I was shaking per M (Mr. Kittyinaz wants to be called M from now on…). Then I did the bulk of the work. And I washed everything. ugh. I remembered why I hate spring cleaning like that.
I spent 0 time on the computer during that time. Saturday and Sunday were spent in an exhausted state of mind. Which continued to Monday.
Last night Insomnia struck and though I was so freaking tired, I couldn’t fall asleep until after 5. I was up before 10 this morning. Ugh. lol. I got to the gym today, so I am thankful to Royal Ember for her suggestion that made me do a palm face. Sometimes I just don’t’ think things all the way through.
Also yesterday, even though I did nothing on the database, I wrote two chapters for Sacred. Let me tell you, when I am done with this, I am off to write the next one. 4Padfoot may threaten me if I don’t since I left it on a cliffy last night. I am up to 22 chapters, and we are not done with the beginning part to me. Yeah, this one will be huge. I am trying to stay on it and finish it, since you guys deserve as much of this one as possible. And 4Padfoot and Royal Ember may cause harm to me if I keep them waiting.
I did start on the database, and hopefully tomorrow, after the updates to the other sites, I can finish the Harry Potter area. Then skip right through the other ones until Twilight. This thing is much bigger than I ever imagined. It will probably take awhile to get it out to you guys.

The Writing Challenge for this month. It’s a pic.. maybe think of someone in the woods or something happening in it? Either way, I DO know what next month will be. It will be outside the normals, and be kinda like the Angels in the Fire. At least I hope so. It is one of those that I was thinking of, and I came up with ideas. Alot of them.

I am going to be adding more stories over at Fanfiction Affliction. Please go and see the site, get involved. This is open to any fandom, and they are pretty easy to work with. Let’s help this take off. IT is an easy format for authors to use, and they have a few rules. Mostly, no plagiarizing, and no Child Pornograghy. You go in, you sign up, and you are in!!! Start posting the stories. One of the admins is around to help out and they have a facebook group in case you have any issues. When I post what I need, they are quick to answer as they do the rest. I love how it shows you what has been loaded on recently (I am on there alot since I do massive downloads.. oops.) and gives you a random story to find. They are good about updating their site with news also. Go over and lets see if we can get this as the alternative to FanFiction.net!
Here is the chapter for today. I know we are getting closer on some of the other stories I have already written chapters for. The betas are checking in with me, and I am quick to assure them that their RL comes before the stories. They are not getting paid for it, and they worry about keeping to the schedules. I will tell you this one took me forever to try to find the pics for it. You will understand more when you read it. Be prepared to start understanding how I am tying things together.

I am here with another chapter for Harry Potter. I know.. no cheering needed. We want to stretch out these last chapters….
Now here is the thing, I never though that all this would take as long as it has. Not in a million years. I expected to be close to finishing my book by now, not still working on the database and having stories to edit when I am done. So we have chapters left to go, but soon we will be running out of the ones I wrote and edited.
For the database, I worked through to the T’s on Harry Potter on Fanfiction. I will be picking it up probably Monday. Depending if Monday is the same as it has been, or if it is one I can get right to work. *shrugs* There is so much going on anymore, that I cannot help but deal with it all on Monday and then move on to working. But we have 1158 stories in the database. WE are in the M’s in the blog (going backwards). Newer authors, please drop us a line. We are working off the blogs I follow, and you newbies are not on there. American Android I know is one.. I know there are more. but heck, I draw a blank.
When the inputting of all this information into the database is all done, and you see any mistakes, or that we are missing some stories you think are awesome, well, there will be a way to add to the list. Right now 4Padfoot is playing with the information and we are thinking that this is going to have to be located off my site. We are not close to being finished, and already it is like 3 times the original files size. And to think, we are working off what I read. I have said it in my group and to 4Padfoot, I read too much!!!!

Bertie Bott, the lady who beta’d this chapter and my Harry Potter stories as well as When I Pretend, is up for one!!! She often will step in and beta chapters for me when others can’t for the TB stories. I am thrilled that she along with, well most of my beta team is on the list!!! Gyllene76 is 4Padfoot’s minion, Meridian is the Queen as well as the beta for the Set you Free Trilogy and I Never Did. MistressJessica1028 does the Mummy, and is going to do Clocks when I edit it. The Queen of Delicious aka TexasEx is going to be doing Some Sacred Place in Time. Royal Ember is my bouncer of ideas for Some Sacred along with 4Padfoot.

Me? I am going to shower off the spring cleaning I did today so I can get into my fresh clean sheets, for me to sleep and then wake to continue. I got my side of the office done, (I even went through my pens!) and did the Bathroom enough for me to know I need to tackle that one day when I have some organizational items. Surprise anyone? Shouldn’t. But tomorrow is the main parts of the house. All the areas no one cleans most of the time, like the cabinet that holds all the Painted Ponies I collect. I really need to buy another one… lol.
But I will relax for the rest of the night, and write some more chapters for Royal Ember and 4Padfoot. Otherwise they may hurt me…

OK. Go read the chapter below, and I am going to work on the database until later tonight when I reward myself by allowing me to write. I am kinda shuddering for when you guys read these chapters. I am being yelled at by one prereader, and the other is planning a rescue. It’s bad when these two ladies know me, and know I am all about the HEA. And have to remind them! It’s a different story alright. I wanted to try to have something that not only started differently than any other, but through all your preconceived notions on the characters out the window…and to make it believable. I take it I am doing that very well. Too Well.

So this weekend was not spent away from the computer. Yes, the Nominations closed on Friday night, then the ladies were super duper awesome in getting them finished when I was away for like an hour. An Hour!!!!!!!!
Then we opened up the Wild Card places, places that we would have had to decide who went where, and there were alot of them! Luckily, you guys stepped up and helped us sort that right out.

Remember what you guys are getting are the chapters that I have had written already and edited. My betas are instructed that their lives comes first, and my stories behind that. I Never…Did: Will start going over it to fix some minor issues, then I will be writing it. After novel.

What If: All Chapters are out to the beta. Will be concentrating on finishing this one as soon as I can.

Sacred: Finished chapter 18 last night, and am working when I need to get away from the database and the muse is screaming at me. This one is going to be large, but I am attempting to finish and no sequels…
That is all of them I think. I have been banned by MissAliceUnsub from the blogs for the database. I spent a full day on Meridian, and I got like 4 done. I suck… But give me FanFiction, and I get tons done in a day. So that is where I am concentrating, once done, I am moving to FictionPad and the rest. We will probably end up with over a 1,000. Seriously. MissAliceUnsub is freakign awesome, and she grabs all the stories for any author I have on my blog page.
So I am signing up as my Facebook is lighting up with the awesomeness of everyone finding out they were nominated.

So everyone got the nominations are closing tomorrow right for the You Want Blood Awards, right? (if not, click on the banner above to be taken to the site to nominate. Put in I don’t read this in any spot you don’t have a nomination.)
And everyone is aware that we are going to have to go through all those nominations, and have to attack the internet to determine if they meet the rules… (If not, yes we do this. We go through each nomination and go to the sites to determine if they are valid.)
This takes ALOT of time. So to help streamline it, I have been working on that rec database. The stories from Fanfiction are finally in (not all of mine, I still have to add in all the rest from there of the different fandoms I follow).
There are so far 700+ stories in there. Again, not all TB/SVM. Some are crossovers. Some are from before I concentrated on TB/SVM. But alot of them are from MissAliceSub who is taking time out of her free time this week to help. She is starting at the bottom of the list. But it really takes alot of time. We copy all the story descriptions, the html for the specific stories, as well as determine who the pairings are, and if it is a one shot, or multi chaptered. If it is complete and when it was finished (for the contest) and when last updated (again for the contest). Also, fans want to know if the story is complete. I can’t keep up with updating when you guys update, that would be full time job! I already have one in writing. lol
It looks like when I am done, that this may actually be bigger than anyone of us thought it would be, so there are rumors of it being moved to a site to make searching for new stories to read much easier. I know the Twilight and the TB/SVM are very popular, but I am adding Harry Potter to the mix and we will see. But I am thinking there will be well over a 1,000 stories in this rec page. Once the story is complete, it will be up to the authors to have their stories (And yes it looks like you can also search by authors too on the new one, but again, I am only hearing rumors from the great one 4Padfoot!!!) updated besides the times we can go through and check. We will be happy to switch the focus of a story to another site if the authors let us know. Right now, where we find them is where we are putting them.
I know I go on and on about this, but you guys should see the stats I see on my pages, and you guys visit the rec pages alot.
TO help us out, for the TB/SVM side especially (since we are the ones that spread out across WordPress!) please contact me on filling out a spreadsheet. I know for me, it is easy peasy to add my stuff in, but for another to come in and check out the dates and so forth would not be so easy. Some people post identically on Fanfiction and other sites, some post on WordPress only, and yet others, like me, post on my site first.
So, please help us out, and help get the You Want Blood Awards out for voting by helping us out. Thanks…
